INTERNATIONAL YEAR TWO (Business & Management)

Your online pathway to the final year of a UK business degree: flexible, academically rigorous, and built for international learners progressing from the International Year One (IY1).

​

The UKAHAL International Year Two (IY2) represents the second year of undergraduate level study, enabling students to progress into the final year of a UK Bachelor’s degree upon successful completion. The IY2 deepens business knowledge, strengthens analytical ability, and develops the higher level academic skills required for advanced undergraduate study.

 

2 TERM INTERNATIONAL YEAR TWO (22 weeks)

English level: IELTS 6.0 required (no subscores lower than 5.5) or equivalent

 

A structured and intensive two term programme for students who are academically ready to complete an undergraduate Level 5 qualification. This route is designed for learners who have already completed a Level 4 diploma — including those progressing directly from the UKAHAL International Year One (IY1).

The IY2 covers the full ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma curriculum across two terms, with high quality teaching, small group seminars, interactive tasks and close academic support.

Across two academic terms, core areas of study include:

  • Global business organisations and international business environments

  • People management, leadership and organisational behaviour at Level 5

  • Financial decision making and management finance

  • Conducting a business research project

  • Marketing principles, strategic communication and customer driven value

  • Sustainability, ethics and responsible business practice

  • Operational and strategic decision making in organisations

  • Data, information and analysis for strategic planning

 

Live seminars, structured weekly activities, casestudy analysis and supported coursework guidance ensure students are fully prepared for the assessments required to complete this Level 5 qualification.

 

Your Progression Pathway

Students who successfully complete the International Year Two can progress to:

1️⃣ Progress to a UK university (Final Year entry)

Enter the third year (final year) of a wide range of undergraduate degrees in:

  • Business & Management

  • Accounting & Finance

  • Marketing

  • Economics

  • International Business

  • Human Resource Management

  • Other related business fields

Progression requirements depend on each university’s individual entry criteria.
