ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
We are committed to making the UKAHAL website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet recognised accessibility standards and to ensure our digital learning environment and online resources are usable, understandable and inclusive for everyone.
What we’ve done
We have designed the site so that it is mobile-friendly and usable across time-zones, recognising our international learner base. Features such as keyboard navigation and clearly structured menus (e.g., “Use tab to navigate through the menu items.”) support users with assistive technologies. We use standard HTML markup for headings and lists, and descriptive link text so that screen-reader users can understand the navigation and content flow.
Where improvements are needed
Despite our efforts, there may still be content or functionality that a particular user finds difficult to access. Some pages may include non-text visuals without full alt text, interactive elements that may not fully respond to keyboard only, or occasional contrast issues. We are continuously working to identify and remedy these issues and will update the site as improvements are implemented.

Next review
This statement will be reviewed at least annually to reflect our ongoing accessibility efforts, and updated versions will be published on our website.
